Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, clear customs, and meet your Silverbird representative who will transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. Rest and prepare for your adventure ahead.

Day 2: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, depart Arusha at 08:00 hrs for Lake Manyara National Park. Arrive at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in this lush park known for its tree-climbing lions, flamingos and scenic Rift Valley views.

Day 3: Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park

Begin your day with an early game drive before breakfast. After breakfast, journey toward the Serengeti, stopping by Olduvai Gorge, an archaeological treasure where the Leakey family unearthed early human fossils. Continue into the Serengeti for afternoon game viewing en route to your lodge.

Day 4: Full Day in Serengeti National Park

Spend the entire day exploring the Serengeti’s legendary plains with morning and afternoon game drives. This is the heart of the Great Migration, where over a million wildebeest and 200,000 zebras traverse the land in search of fresh grazing. Witness lion prides, cheetahs, elephants and perhaps a dramatic chase.

Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, enjoy a scenic game drive en route to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend from the high plains and prepare to explore one of Earth’s most unique natural wonders.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Tour

After an early breakfast, descend 2,000 feet into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day safari. This caldera, formed over 2.5 million years ago, houses over 30,000 animals, including the endangered black rhino. Enjoy lunch at a scenic spot near the hippo pool, then ascend the crater wall and return to your lodge.

Day 7: Ngorongoro – Arusha – Zanzibar

After a leisurely breakfast, drive to Arusha and transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, meet your representative and transfer to your beach resort.

Meal Plan: Half Board

Days 8 & 9: Zanzibar Island Leisure

Two full days to relax on Zanzibar’s pristine beaches, swim in turquoise waters or opt for excursions such as visiting Prison Island, a Stone Town heritage tour, or a spice plantation visit. Enjoy the island’s blend of cultures, fresh seafood and vibrant sunsets.

Day 10: Zanzibar – Departure

After breakfast and depending on your flight time, transfer to Zanzibar International Airport for your onward international journey.
