Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Nakuru – Welcome to the Bird Watchers’ Paradise

Depart Nairobi in the morning for Lake Nakuru National Park, located just 160 kilometers away in the heart of the Great Rift Valley. Upon arrival, enjoy a scenic drive into the park with your first chance to spot wildlife and birds en route to the lodge. After checking in and enjoying lunch, take in panoramic views of the shimmering lake, dotted with flamingos and pelicans. In the afternoon, embark on a thrilling game drive to search for the park’s famous residents—including endangered white rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, buffalo and perhaps even leopards lurking in the trees. Return to your camp or lodge for dinner and a peaceful night’s rest surrounded by nature.

Day 02: Full-Day Exploration in Lake Nakuru National Park

Start your day with an early morning game drive to catch predators at their most active. As the sun rises, you might witness lions on a hunt or rhinos grazing in the misty savannah. After breakfast back at the lodge, enjoy the serenity of your surroundings or relax by the pool. In the late afternoon, set off once again on a game drive to explore different sections of the park. This is a perfect opportunity to observe more than 400 bird species and search for the park’s famed duo—the black and white rhino. Wrap up your adventurous day with dinner and another overnight stay inside the park.

Day 03: Lake Nakuru to Nairobi – One Last Look at the Wild

After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely morning at the lodge with the option of taking a short nature walk to soak in the beauty of the surroundings one last time. Then, check out and depart for Nairobi, arriving in the early afternoon with unforgettable memories of pink-hued lakeshores, towering giraffes and majestic rhinos.
