Day 1: Kigali – Akagera National Park

Your journey begins upon arrival at Kigali International Airport or pickup from your hotel. From here, you’ll drive eastward through the lush Rwandan countryside to Akagera National Park, bordering Tanzania. Upon arrival, check in and settle into your lodge. Spend your evening soaking in the views, listening to the sounds of the wild and enjoying your first taste of safari serenity.

Day 2: Game Drive & Boat Safari on Lake Ihema

After an early breakfast, embark on a thrilling morning game drive across the scenic landscapes of Akagera. Keep your eyes peeled for giraffes browsing the trees, buffalo herds on the move, shy antelopes, majestic elephants and if lucky, a prowling lion or a stealthy leopard. In the afternoon, unwind with a guided boat safari on Lake Ihema—home to hippos, Nile crocodiles and a rich variety of aquatic birds including the African fish eagle and kingfishers.

Day 3: Return to Kigali & Departure
