Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Welcome to Tanzania! After clearing customs at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a Silverbird representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha town. Take the rest of the day to relax and prepare for the epic journey ahead.

Day 2: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, set off at 08:00 AM for Lake Manyara National Park. Enjoy a scenic drive through villages and the Great Rift Valley before arriving for lunch at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge. In the afternoon, go on a thrilling game drive. Expect to see tree-climbing lions, elephants, and flamingos along the shores of the soda lake.

Day 3: Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park

Begin your day with an early morning game drive followed by breakfast at the lodge. Then head towards Serengeti National Park, passing through the iconic Olduvai Gorge, an archaeological treasure trove where the Leakey family unearthed some of the earliest human remains. Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive across the vast plains.

Day 4: Full Day Serengeti Game Drives

Spend the full day exploring the Serengeti ecosystem—Tanzania’s most famous national park and home to the Great Migration. Witness herds of wildebeest and zebra, predators on the prowl, and a landscape teeming with life.

Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After a relaxed breakfast, enjoy one last game drive in Serengeti before continuing to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and natural marvel. Check in at your lodge located near or along the crater rim.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Tour

After breakfast, descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater—Africa’s largest intact caldera. Packed with 30,000 animals, including the Big Five, this is one of the world’s best places to see wildlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a hippo lake before returning to your lodge for the evening.

Day 7: Ngorongoro – Arusha – Zanzibar

Enjoy breakfast at leisure, then transfer to Arusha for your domestic flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport, a representative will transfer you to your beach lodge.

Days 8 & 9: Zanzibar Beach Paradise

These two full days are yours to unwind on the pristine white-sand beaches of Zanzibar. Lounge under palm trees, take a swim in the Indian Ocean, or book optional excursions like a Stone Town tour, Prison Island visit, or snorkeling adventure.

Day 10: Departure

After breakfast, depending on your international flight schedule, you’ll be transferred to Zanzibar Airport for your onward journey.
