Day 1: Arrival in Bwindi – Into the Heart of the Forest

Your journey begins with a morning flight from Entebbe Airport to Kihihi airstrip, where your safari driver will be waiting to transfer you to Buhoma Lodge, tucked away on the edge of the Bwindi rainforest. Take in the serene atmosphere, settle into your luxury forest cabin and enjoy lunch as you listen to birdsong and the rustle of the forest. Spend the afternoon at leisure, relaxing at the lodge or taking a short guided forest walk before dinner.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Adventure

Today is the highlight of your journey! After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before setting off on your once-in-a-lifetime Gorilla Trek. Accompanied by trained guides and trackers, you’ll venture deep into the rainforest in search of a habituated gorilla family. Once found, you’ll be allowed one magical hour observing them up close—watching as they feed, play and interact. Return to the lodge in the afternoon to unwind and relive the experience.

Day 3: Optional Second Gorilla Trek or Leisure Day
