Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe – Transfer to Kampala
Arrive at Entebbe International Airport, where you’ll be warmly welcomed by your guide. Transfer to your hotel in Kampala for a relaxing evening. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a brief orientation drive through the city or unwind at your lodge.

Day 2: Kampala – Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive southwest to Lake Mburo National Park. En route, stop at the Equator line in Masaka for photographs and local crafts. Upon arrival, check in and enjoy lunch before heading out for a boat cruise among hippos and aquatic birds. Wrap up your day with a sundowner game drive, catching glimpses of zebras, impalas, buffaloes and more in the golden evening light.

Day 3: Lake Mburo – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Start your day with a bush walk safari, where you can spot wildlife at close range on foot with a knowledgeable guide. Later, depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, stopping at Igongo Cultural Centre for a visit to the Ankole Museum and a hearty lunch in Mbarara. Continue through the picturesque highlands to reach your lodge at the edge of the forest.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) rangers. Then begins your gorilla tracking adventure, a life-changing experience as you trek through the dense forest in search of one of Bwindi’s habituated gorilla families. After an exhilarating encounter, return for lunch and a relaxed village walk in Buhoma to see local life, traditional medicine practices and cultural crafts.

Day 5: Bwindi – Kampala / Entebbe – Departure
After breakfast, depart Bwindi via the Kasese–Fort Portal road, passing through Queen Elizabeth National Park where you may spot tree-climbing lions or elephants during your en-route game viewing. Stop for lunch and stretch at the Equator line in Kasese. Arrive in Kampala or Entebbe in the evening in time for your outbound flight.
