Day 1: Arrival in Kigali
Welcome to Rwanda! Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you’ll be warmly received by your guide and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy a detailed briefing on your upcoming safari, followed by a relaxing evening to unwind from your travels. Dinner is served at the hotel as you prepare for your mountain journey ahead.

Day 2: Kigali City Tour & Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
After breakfast, begin the day with a city tour of Kigali, starting with a moving visit to the Gisozi Genocide Memorial Site. The museum tells Rwanda’s powerful story of loss, recovery and unity through impactful exhibits. After lunch, drive northwest to Ruhengeri, the gateway town to Parc National des Volcans, enjoying scenic views of Rwanda’s lush hills and terraced farms along the way.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking Experience in Parc National des Volcans
Rise early for a briefing at the Volcanoes National Park headquarters, where you’ll be assigned a gorilla family to track. Then set out with your guide into the misty jungle for a magical trek in search of the endangered mountain gorillas. Upon encountering them, you’ll spend up to one awe-inspiring hour observing their behaviors—grooming, playing and foraging in the thick foliage. It’s a deeply emotional and unforgettable experience. Return to your lodge for rest and reflection.

Day 4: Optional Second Gorilla Trek or Cultural Encounters
Today offers flexibility depending on your interests. Experience traditional Rwandan dances, try your hand at spear throwing, or learn to prepare local cuisine.

Day 5: Return to Kigali & Departure
