Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli – At the Foot of Kilimanjaro
Your adventure begins with a scenic morning drive from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park, a 5-hour journey through the Kenyan countryside. Upon arrival, you’ll settle in at your lodge and enjoy a delicious lunch before heading out for your first game drive. With the snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro as your backdrop, you’ll spot elephants, lions, zebras and countless bird species roaming the open plains. As the sun sets, return to your camp or lodge for a hearty dinner and a restful night in the wild.
Day 02: Amboseli to Tsavo East – From Elephants to the Red Earth
After an early breakfast and a final morning game drive through Amboseli, you’ll depart for the red-dust savannah of Tsavo East National Park—Kenya’s oldest and one of its most expansive parks. The 6-hour journey is filled with scenic views and occasional wildlife sightings. On arrival, check in at the lodge and enjoy a well-earned lunch. In the afternoon, head out for a game drive across the park’s rugged terrain, home to lions, giraffes, buffalo and the famous red elephants of Tsavo. As evening falls, unwind with dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge within the park.
Day 03: Tsavo East to Diani/Mombasa – Safari to Sand
Wake up to the call of the wild with an early morning game drive, followed by a relaxed breakfast at the lodge. Then, begin your descent toward the coast, passing local villages and changing landscapes as you travel to Mombasa or Diani Beach (approx. 5+ hours). You’ll arrive around midday and be dropped off at your beach hotel—ready to trade safari boots for flip-flops and enjoy the warm coastal breeze.
