Flying Safari to Amboseli & Masai Mara

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi – Fly to Amboseli National Park

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a UNIGLOBE Silverbird representative for a short safari briefing. You’ll then be transferred to Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight to Amboseli National Park. On arrival, you’ll be met and transferred to your preferred luxury lodge or camp, where you can settle in and soak up the stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Enjoy a relaxing evening with dinner under the stars and your first night immersed in the wild.

Day 02: Full Day in Amboseli – Game Drives & Sundowner Experience

After breakfast, set out for a thrilling morning game drive across Amboseli’s expansive plains, famous for large elephant herds, big cats and striking views of Africa’s tallest peak. Return to camp for lunch and some rest, with a chance to enjoy panoramic views from your veranda or lounge. In the afternoon, head back out for another game drive, culminating in a special bush sundowner experience as the sun sets behind Kilimanjaro. On your way back, you may encounter nocturnal wildlife beginning to stir. Dinner and overnight at your camp or lodge.

Day 03: Amboseli – Flight to Maasai Mara Game Reserve

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before transferring to the airstrip for your flight to the world-renowned Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Upon landing, your safari guide will meet you for a scenic transfer to your luxury lodge or tented camp. After lunch, embark on your first game drive across the Mara’s golden plains, where lion prides, cheetahs, elephants and countless other animals roam freely. Return to camp for dinner and overnight surrounded by the sounds of the savannah.

Day 04: Full Day Safari in Maasai Mara – Optional Balloon Ride

Today, explore the Maasai Mara in depth with morning and afternoon game drives. The Mara is the northern extension of the Serengeti ecosystem and is home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, including all members of the Big Five. You may also witness dramatic predator-prey interactions or herds of antelope grazing peacefully. For an unforgettable experience, opt for a hot air balloon safari at dawn (USD 450 per person), followed by a champagne breakfast in the bush. All meals and overnight at your preferred lodge or camp.

Day 05: Bush Breakfast & Departure to Nairobi

Begin your final day with a magical bush breakfast in the heart of the Mara. Afterward, bid farewell to the wild as you’re transferred to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi, departing at 11:00 AM. Upon arrival at Wilson Airport, you’ll be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or your city hotel, marking the end of your unforgettable Kenyan flying safari.
