Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe

Your adventure begins with a warm welcome at Entebbe International Airport. You’ll receive a short briefing before being transferred to your hotel for a restful evening.

Day 2: Entebbe – Kampala – Murchison Falls

Depart Entebbe and travel northwards through Kampala, heading to the legendary Murchison Falls National Park. Journey through rolling landscapes before arriving at your lodge near the roaring Nile River.

Day 3: Game Drives & Nile Boat Safari

Kick off the day with a morning game drive—expect sightings of elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes and more. In the afternoon, embark on a boat cruise to the base of the thunderous Murchison Falls, where the Nile squeezes through a 7-meter gorge. Optional experiences include a hot-air balloon safari or chimp tracking in Budongo.

Day 4: Murchison Falls – Kibale Forest

Drive southwest via the scenic Albertine Escarpment, passing through Hoima and vast tea plantations en route to Kibale Forest National Park, home to the world’s densest population of chimpanzees.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Wetlands

Enter the lush Kibale Forest for a chimpanzee tracking adventure. Spot other primates like the Colobus monkey, red-tailed monkey and grey-cheeked mangabey. After lunch, enjoy a swamp walk in Bigodi Wetlands Sanctuary, a birder’s paradise.

Day 6: Kibale – Queen Elizabeth National Park

Head to Queen Elizabeth National Park, with en-route views of the majestic Rwenzori Mountains. After settling in, go for an afternoon game drive where you might spot lions, topis, hyenas and more.

Day 7: Safari & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

Start the day with a morning game drive, followed by an afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, which hosts one of the largest populations of hippos in Africa, alongside elephants, crocodiles and abundant birdlife. Optional balloon safari available after breakfast.

Day 8: Queen Elizabeth – Bwindi via Ishasha

Drive south through the Ishasha sector, where you might spot tree-climbing lions. Continue your journey to the famous Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site and sanctuary for mountain gorillas.

Day 9: Gorilla Trekking Experience

Day 10: Bwindi Nature Walk – Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
