Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park – Into the Land of Giants
Your driver-guide will pick you up in Arusha and you’ll begin your adventure with a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most underrated gems. Famous for its massive elephant herds, ancient baobab trees and the lifeline Tarangire River, this park offers a beautiful blend of landscapes and animal life. After checking into your lodge and a short rest, you’ll enjoy a full-day game drive, keeping an eye out for tree-climbing lions, leopards, giraffes, buffaloes and over 550 species of birds.

Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti – Journey to the Endless Plains
After breakfast, depart Tarangire and head northwest towards the legendary Serengeti National Park. Along the way, you may choose to stop at Olduvai Gorge, the cradle of mankind, to explore its fascinating archaeological history. As you approach the Serengeti, the terrain changes into vast golden plains teeming with wildlife. Arrive in time for an evening game drive, the perfect moment to spot predators as they prepare for the night hunt. From wildebeest migration (seasonal) to sightings of the Big Five, the Serengeti offers an unparalleled safari experience.

Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro – From Savannah to Crater Rim
Begin the day with a morning game drive in the Serengeti, when wildlife activity is at its peak. Capture beautiful photos and perhaps spot a cheetah sprinting across the plains or a pride of lions lounging in the early sun. After your drive, continue to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, passing herds of grazing animals and scenic highlands. On the way, you may opt to visit Olduvai Gorge or a Maasai village to experience their rich culture and traditions. Arrive at your lodge perched on the rim of the crater for a peaceful evening surrounded by nature.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Tour & Return to Arusha (Departure)
After an early breakfast, descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to over 25,000 large animals. Enjoy a half-day crater tour, spotting rhinos, lions, hyenas, elephants and an abundance of birdlife including flamingos on Lake Magadi. The crater’s unique ecosystem supports an incredible concentration of wildlife, making it one of the best safari locations in the world. After lunch, you’ll head back to Arusha for your onward journey or drop-off at the airport.
